Superb Woman, today and always
Share
On International Women's Day, we want to send you a single message: we are all Superb Women, and we must all fight for it today and always.
And, to celebrate this day, we just wanted to show you a little more of our daily life, what it's like to be a woman in a team of men, and what it's like to work with men alongside a woman. Because at Superb, we also celebrate equality. Plus, as you know, at Superb, there are no stereotypes. Anyone who is happy and strives for their goals always inspires us.
If you've seen the IGTV we just posted on our Instagram account, you'll understand why we're talking about this post. In the video, they explain what it's like to work alongside a woman, and at the same time, they also want to know what it's like for me to work alongside them. So here's a mini interview.
@pablosuperb : At what point did you realize you were Superb?
@bbeii_ : I think it's been a process, and working here with you all has had a lot to do with it. After so much time, the journey is also a learning process, and I realized I was Superb when I started to enjoy that path more, all those little things that go into a launch, a new design, a meeting... I mean, without losing the seriousness that comes with launching a new project from scratch. It's also important to enjoy those moments that, in the end, make your team your family. Immersing myself in people with different points of view, different ways of seeing life... opening myself up more and more to different things. All of this has also given me more self-confidence, and being aware of that is also what being Superb means.
@guilleramphoto : What does it mean to you to be a SuperbGirl or SuperbWoman?
@bbeii_ : Someone with goals, a future, projects in mind... someone who fights every day for their rights and values, who works every day for them and for everything they want to achieve. And, of course, someone who achieves everything they set out to do. Who's happy with what they have, who knows how to value things...
@pablosuperb : If you could change something about Superb, what would it be?
@bbeii_ : The truth is that I'm usually a bit of a complainer (haha) or a bit "angry" because we don't always organize ourselves as we should... but, honestly, the lack of organization sometimes or the fact that we do things on the fly are also part of the Superb essence. If you had asked me this months ago, I would say a lot of things, but right now, I think we're giving it our all, that we're working hard, and that, little by little, we'll all continue to learn that we need to change or how we should do it. We're not a brand like the others, nor do we want to be; we're not perfect, and we don't want to be either. I'm proud to be with you and see how this grows.
@guillemraphoto : Do you feel that your opinion is valued equally as your colleagues'?
@bbeii_ : I'm lucky to work in a company where you're not judged based on whether you're a man or a woman. Perhaps at some point I've felt less valued than I expected, but I don't think it's because I'm a woman, but because of something internal within me that I've gradually changed. So yes, I feel like my opinion is valued just as much as the rest of my colleagues', and even better, I love being a part of this. Still, I'm taking advantage of this question to support all those women who might not be able to say the same thing as me because, no matter what happens, they know they're stronger than anyone. We're always stronger than we seem or than we sometimes believe ourselves to be.
