A very #skater plan and the perfect #look

The perfect #SuperbPlan can be found where you least expect it, and it doesn't always have to be related to your tastes or hobbies. You can let yourself go and surprise yourself with different plans. For example, can you imagine an exhibition exploring the history of #Skate that might be related to film, fashion, or music?
If you're from Barcelona or planning to come in the next few days, we have a superb exhibition for you. We're talking about " Fusta i Rode s " at Casa Seat ; a sample of the skate collection housed by Sören Manzoni at Manzoni's Garage . A journey through time in which different cultural references are served... and without a doubt, the world of skating has been generating street culture since the early 1950s, and brands and companies from different industries have also taken references from this world as a source of inspiration (we ourselves on occasion).
You'll come across one of the boards Marty McFly used, as an improvised board, in "Back to the Future"; or a bedroom scene typical of any teenager passionate about the world of staking in the '80s (with ET as one of the protagonists, of course)... This decade marks the birth of modern staking and with it the boom of Street Style and Free Style. Fashion, film, and various magazines made skateboarding reach international popularity; and thus, a staking culture was born, blending with the '80s culture of music, aesthetics, and arcade games. Speaking of music, boombox players appeared during this same era, allowing music to be brought to the streets, and, of course, skaters began skating to their own soundtracks. In the '90s, music and staking culture already shared many values, reflected in groups like Sum 41 and Blink 182 .
Skateboarding is also a lifestyle, just as happiness and everything that generates that feeling are for us. But did you know that in the early 1990s, skateboarding lost popularity and it was streetwear that gave the industry a new lease on life? Even those who weren't fans of skateboarding embraced this aesthetic, which, at the time, blended with rap, grunge, and punk rock culture.
In short, a great plan where you can learn about the beginnings of skateboarding and learn about the many interesting facts that keep this culture alive today, serving as a source of inspiration for many. An exhibition brimming with detail and reflecting key moments in the world; for example, Patil McGee was the first female skateboarder to win the US National Skateboarding Championship in 1964 and the first woman inducted into the Skateboarding Hall of Fame. The best part? That at 76, she's still skating. Patil, you are #Superb.
PS: If you're a fan of skateboarding and its culture, you should watch the movie KIDS, which perfectly captures the underground world of staking and has also attracted thousands of young people to the scene.
